Biography:
The first woman president of the Sri Lanka Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry and the first female Group CEO of a public quoted conglomerate in Sri Lanka. Currently the CEO of Hemas Holdings PLC, Kasturi is also a committee member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), and a member of the Sub-Committee on Economic, Fiscal and Policy Planning. She was appointed director of the National Sports Council in 2020.
Kasturi was recognized as one of twelve Top Women Change-Makers in the country in 2019 by the Parliament of Sri Lanka and has represented the country as a member of the National Netball and Basketball Teams.
